Western Canada Information Security Conference (WCISC) 2022

Over the course of two days, the event brings together IT security and audit specialists with OEM and local suppliers. Industry professionals get current cyber education as well as up to 13 CPE credits to help them maintain their credentials. Vendors will be able to demonstrate their knowledge of cyber security products, solutions, and ideas to the Winnipeg audience.

The event will take place on Monday, May 16th, and Tuesday, May 17th this year. The conference begins at 8 a.m. on both days, with a 1-hour Plenary Session from our Diamond sponsor beginning at 8:30 a.m. At 9:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., there will be two networking breaks.

The Keynote Speaker will be on May 16th at 12:00 PM. Each day is divided into five 1-hour sessions with three different instructional tracks. Although there will be an unforeseen break from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. on May 17th, merchants will be available to interact with visitors at their booths all day. Leadership Gamification will be included throughout the two-day conference, which is new this year.

After the last sessions of the day, the regular schedule for each day finishes at 4:30 PM. This year’s virtual conference will have a Lobby, an Exhibit Hall, and an Auditorium, similar to our in-person conferences. Each vendor will have a virtual booth hosted by their team in the Exhibit Hall where they will be available to conference participants. The Plenary Sessions and Keynote Addresses will take place in the Auditorium. Attendees are encouraged to take advantage of this chance to visit our exhibitors’ virtual booths.
